Grouple presents gcards!
What are gcards?
They're like DevIDs for groups. They're a great way to the let the users of DA know about your group.
The benefits of gcards . . .
1. DA's group listings are limited. Since gcards are submitted as deviations, you can write as much as you want about your group in the comments, not to mention the information you put in the gcard itself.
2. Since gcards are deviations, they're searchable in the main search.
3. If your group is a Super Group, your gcard can be displayed in a custom box (see Grouple's main page for an example).
4. Gcards can be added to favorites and galleries, spreading the word even more about your group.
5. Grouple will be building a gallery over time of all known gcards and categorizing them. It will be yet another way to look for groups that improves upon DA's existing system.
6. Gcards contain consistent info about groups, so once you know how they work, it's easy to spot things that are of interest to you.

Can I make a gcard for my group?
Yes! Please do and then submit it to Grouple so we can share it with everyone!

GROUPLE HAS MOVED
Okay, for the last time, Grouple has relocated to ~Grouple-Zero (https://www.deviantart.com/grouple-zero). I'd like to turn off join requests and the like, but even as Co-Founder, I'm unable to do so. J.Flo has been missing from dA for over a year and a half, so it's safe to assume he'll never come back. So please, PLEASE join at the new location. After posting this, I'll be removing myself from the Group because there's no reason to be Co-Founder of a Group that's closed.

What's to Come
Okay, first I need to apologise to everyone for not saying anything in months. I've gotten extremely busy lately, but I believe I've got a bit of free time during my break between terms at the Art Institute. So, I'm going to use that time to get things going with Grouple. ...Er, the new one.
See, the Founder, pantheon9000 (https://www.deviantart.com/pantheon9000) (aka J.Flo), still has not returned to dA after 39 weeks. So yeah. MIA. In his stead, I, the Co-Founder, have made a new home for Grouple. I'll be running things a bit differently than J.Flo did, since it seems as though Grouple is pretty disorganised and tends to be very overwhelming to those wishing to navigate its p
The Fate of Grouple...
Ah, at long last I have the answer to the question, "What will happen to Grouple?" First of all, let me say the Founder, pantheon9000 (https://www.deviantart.com/pantheon9000), has still not come here after more than 3 months (13 weeks, according to his page).
A good dA friend of mine was able to talk to a dA staff member about the situation here, and the admin said we must move to a new Group and shut this one down. So yes... this Group is going to be closed. When? I can't say. Where is the new Grouple going to be? I can't say that, either. The main reason is because I'm not sure what the new Group should be called, since Grouple is being used here already. I'm open to (mature
Suggest a Grouple
If a Grouple has been claimed or made, but is still on this list, please let me know and I will remove it.
Use this thread to suggest a Grouple topic by replying in the comments below with your suggestion.
Rules:
1. Please check the Grouple Claim thread http://grouple.deviantart.com/blog/37438067/ first, as your suggestion may already be in the works.
2. Also, search DA for Grouple + your suggested topic to make sure there isn't already a Grouple in existence.
3. There is a character limit to each Grouple deviation, so we can't do Grouples that are too broad. For example, we couldn't do a Roleplay grouple, but we could do Anime Roleplay

I made a GCard and suggested it as Favourite... that's what I had to do, right?
I love the concept of Grouple and I hope soon more groups will start making GCards, it's really useful!
